William Middleton has become an internet sensation after he got his head stuck in a garbage bin in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Firefighters were called to the scene to rescue the man after he stuck his head into the bin to retrieve his hat that he’d accidentally dropped in the bin along while throwing out rubbish.

Rescue crews used a high-powered saw to free Middleton who had been stuck for around 20 minutes.

William Middleton told reporters, “I couldn’t get my head out.  It was shocking.  It was stinking.  I’m now known as bucket head”.

William was taken to hospital for a check up once freed from the bin.
