Toddler chews on snake and lives

image A thirteen-month old toddler by the name of Imad Aleeyan was one of the luckiest kids alive when he decided to use a highly venomous snake as chew toy.

In an Arab town north of Israel, the boy’s mother was making his milk only to turn around and see the child chewing on the head of a 12 inch snake.

She alerted the entire neighbourhood with her screams of horror, until one of the neighbours ripped the snake from the young boy’s mouth and killed it.  The toddler, who has six teeth, managed to do a great job with his mother describing the snake’s head as being '”very badly chewed.”

“When he pulled it out, Imad started crying,” said the boy’s mother Ghadir Aleeyan.

Tasty snake, perhaps?

Unbelievably, the child had no cuts or bites and doctors have confirmed he is unharmed by the ordeal.

“Doctors at the hospital told us the snake was really poisonous but that we were very lucky because they release less venom in the winter,” his mother said.
