In what started as a tongue-in-cheek song written by an 8 year old from Queensland about her dog, has fast become a viral hit. Eight year old Juliet sings of the love for her dog Robert, and her “fishies” in a 59 second clip put together by family friend Rob Sharpe and filmed by her mother. The song entitled, My First Hardcore Song by Juliet reached 10.7 million viewers on YouTube in just the first two days. The clip has been reviewed on UK music website Metal Hammer and Juliet and her mother have had numerous calls from Germany, the US ABC Netowrk and Good Morning America. PR companies have also been in touch who want to “brand” Juliet, but her parents have put their foot down, "She's in Grade 3, she's got homework next week so she's busy, it's insane.” said her mother Christina Childs. Juliet’s father said he hopes the hype of it all dies down considerably so he can show the clip at Juliet’s 18th birthday. Her parents will donate any money raised from the clip into their daughters trust fund to help pay for her to go travelling overseas or for a car when she leaves school.
