Consumers will continue to pay for SA Water’s infrastructure spending it seems.

Water bills therefore would remain at record levels for a lot longer if the agency’s bid to spend more than $1billion over the next three years is approved.

SA Water is seeking approval to sign off on water and sewerage works spending of $1.175 billion.

This compares with $815 million in the previous three years
