New support for secondary schools

depression A new support service to assist secondary schools.

The service will be handled by Headspace to support students in the aftermath of a suicide along with training and resources for teachers to identify students who are at risk.

Federal Minister for Mental Health, Mark Butler, says the program will also strengthen ties between secondary schools and local support services.

Remember also if you need help – there’s Lifeline on 13 11 14.
