South Australia won’t get back any of the money paid to disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong when he rode in three Tour Down Under events.

The State Government has never revealed how much the cyclist was paid in appearance fees to be part of the Tour.

The Crown Solicitor was asked this week to investigate whether any of the money could be retrieved in light of the doping allegations against Armstrong but apparently there’s no legal basis for recovering any of the payments.
