Former bank employee appeals sentence

bank robbery A former bank employee who was jailed for nearly 10 years for committing a robbery at Mannum – an inside job - is appealing against his sentence.

Justin Robert Lundberg, 35, was jailed for nine years and 10 months.

The former Bank SA financial planner tied up teller Jennifer Hosking and stole $120,000 in December 2009.

In the South Australian Supreme Court, Lundberg's lawyer have argued the sentence should be reduced because the offender did not use a weapon, did not shout at Ms Hosking and fetched her a jacket to kneel on while restrained.
