The birth of five cheetah cubs to breeding queen, Nakula has thrilled staff at Monarto Zoo.

Nakula is also the mum of the zoo's recently hand-raised single cub.

The 5 were born on the 8^th of this month and are the first litter for the zoo in seven years.

Mum and the cubs are doing very well, living in an off-limits area until they're old enough for their public debut in the not too distant future.

Nakula was born at Monarto Zoo in 2003.
