Police have arrested an 18 year old teenager after the alleged stabbing of another teenager at the Mt Barker Central shopping centre.

They say the wounded Mount Barker boy is in the RAH with serious injuries, reportedly a punctured lung, after he staggered home to Knott Street.

It’s alleged the incident occurred in a Hutchinson Street shop yesterday mid morning.

The two males are known to each other.
