Letters are being sent to landowners along part of the Murray explaining the ‘Riverine Recovery’ project.

The aim of this state-federally funded initiative is to improve the health and resilience of floodplains, wetlands and backwaters.

Several wetlands have been prioritised for site-based inspections.

The letter states permission will be sought from landowners to enter the wetlands area.
