A new survey suggests people would prefer their household bills reduced before receiving a pay rise or for interest rates to remain low.
The latest findings of the Daymark Community Monitor coincide with yesterday’s Reserve Bank announcement and the newest interest rate cut of a quarter of one percent.
It also found 34% of Australians consider the Federal Government has the most influence over their personal economic wellbeing.
