There are uncertain times following the collapse of timber giant Gunns but it could see an increase in agricultural production on KI according to Finniss MP Michael Pengilly.

He says 10,730ha of blue gum forestry land on the island could be sold.

Mr Pengilly says a scheme could be devised to see the land returned to agricultural production, therefore KI community would be far better served.
