The prediction of above average temperatures over Summer is worrying the CFS.

The Service says many residents living in fire prone areas are ignorant of bushfire risks.

Assistant Chief Officer Rob Sandford says bushfires can not be accurately predicted so preparing for them is a must.

The weather bureau’s 3-month forecast shows there’s an 80% chance of above average temperatures.
