Motorbike licenses are under review.

The state government is considering changes to licence conditions to try to reduce the number of rider deaths on our roads.

The proposals are contained in a discussion paper and include a requirement for a person to hold a car licence for at least 12 months before they can apply for a motorcycle learner's permit.

Compulsory training for scooter riders is another possibility
