A Currency Creek farmer has grown the country’s largest eucalypt collection it seems.

Dr Dean Nicolle has travelled near and far collecting a diverse array of eucalypt species and the trees now cover his 30-hectare property on the South Coast.

His farm has 90% of Australia's eucalypt species totalling more than 7,000 trees.

The first plantings occurred in the 1990s.
