The state government’s draft marine park management plans have failed to calm more waters.

The SA Marine Parks Management Alliance claims the government is not listening to the regional concerns about the economic impacts of what it terms ‘poorly designed’ marine parks.

The Alliance says it’s a return to the bad old days under Mike Rann’s leadership when community concerns were ignored.

An independent study suggests the parks will cost more than $100m per year over the first 5 years.
