That cold front with showers, cold winds and hail has eased across South Australia.

There were also reports of sleet or snow in at least two parts of the Hills yesterday.

The Weather Bureau has cancelled a severe weather warning that saw wind gusts reach 90kmh at Mt Crawford and other centres, more to the north of the city.

Mt Crawford had 23mm since 9am yesterday, Mt Barker 17 and Strathalbyn 18mm.

The SES headquarters meanwhile has praised the efforts of their volunteer network – a network that responded to more than 300 calls for help during the past 36 hours or so.
