Complaints outweighed compliments across many of the state’s country hospitals in 2011-12.

Country Health SA says figures show some regions saw more compliments than complaints such as the Flinders – Mid North, Lower North and York Peninsula.

But a breakdown across the Hills, South Coast and KI show 102 complaints to just 19 compliments.

There were even more complaints for the Lower South East but far fewer in the Upper SE.

The total number of suggestions from patients and consumers was quite small also.
