Dr William Bell is quite possibly one of the most inspiring blokes on earth!

At 90 years young, gramps is still pole vaulting!  If that’s not enough to impress the pants off you, Dr William Bell holds the pole vault world records in age groups 75-79, 80-84 and 85-89!

He’s done it again! Grandpa Bell now holds the 90-94 world record!

Bell is the father of three-time former Olympian Earl Bell,who won silver at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles.  Earl Bell is now the the coach of Bell Athletics, where the affectionately dubbed 'Grandpa Bell’ still jumps three times a week at the training facility in Arkansas.
