This lucky South Aussie bloke is in a ‘head spin’ after winning $50 million!

The man from Adelaide was the only winner of the $50 million Powerball jackpot and says he is “absolutely speechless”.

He’s a regular player and had registered his 7-game entry saying it took a few moments for the realization to sink in. 

“I won $50 million.  What a head spin”, he said. 

Lotteries officials contacted the man just hours after the draw with the exciting news.

The winning numbers were 7, 25, 17, 28, 2 and Powerball number was 26, and the winner said the numbers held special meaning for his family.  The numbers were in fact his late mother-in-law’s pick.  “We always knew she would look after us”, he said.

As South Australia’s biggest Powerball draw, the winner will now take his time in deciding how to spend his $50 million.
