3 new ‘no-fishing zones’ for part of the south coast under the State Government's Marine Park plan shouldn’t inconvenience local fishers.

A 2.5km section of Christies Beach, a section at Aldinga Beach and a small section of Onkaparinga River have been earmarked in the plan.

The Weatherill Government announced the proposed locations for the zones recently.

Local experts suggest there shouldn’t be too big an impact on anglers.
