A meeting in Transport Minister Pat Conlon’s office early next week might see a reprieve for the Cadell ferry. The State Government wants to cull the service from the 30th of this month – claiming it’ll save $400,000. The Cadell ferry service is the only one not under contract. Tuesday’s meeting is to be attended by Mid Murray Council, the state opposition and a representative from the Cadell community. |
