Ashlee Simpson is set for a comeback and has released a teaser of the first single off her forthcoming album!

The famous Simpson family have been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons of late.  Jessica Simpson’s had a very publicised weight battle after the birth of her first child Maxwell Drew, her father Joe Simpson is enduring a highly publicised divorce from wife Tina Simpson, and now there are claims he is gay and has had numerous toyboys.

Ashlee Simpson on the other hand, has been working on a new album for the last two years and has a very new sound and an edgy clip to match!

Ashlee tweeted, "Happy Halloween! As promised, here's a little tease of what's to come!"

The single is titled, Bat For A Heart and despite all the rumours of a ‘folky’ sound, this single is nothing of the sort!

"In this tease I do drop the F bomb so you've been warned”, Ashlee said.
