Beyonce is set to perform at halftime at the Super Bowl 2013!

“Countdown to Touchdown” is the message Beyonce posted with this pic of herself via her Tumblr page confirming that she is to perform at next years Super Bowl.

A source told The Associated Press that new mum Beyonce will bring the house down at the halftime show on February 3, 2013.

It is a known fact that the Super Bowl is one of the most watched broadcasts around the world.  Last year 114 million people in the US alone tuned in to watch Madonna perform as the halftime entertainment alongside guests M.I.A, LMFAO, CeeLo Green and Nicki Minaj.

Madonna’s performance alone was watched more than the actual game which only recorded an estimate of 111.3 million viewers.
