Not only is Rihanna “praying” for the man who assaulted her, but reports state she’s even ready to stand up in court to defend him.

It has been reported that Rihanna is prepared to attend and speak at her ex-boyfriend’s court appearance scheduled for November 1.

A source has told Radar Online, “Rihanna has spoken to Chris since his progress reporting hearing on Monday afternoon and offered her continued support.”

At a court appearance on Monday, it was revealed that Brown had tested positive to marijuana which could potentially violate his probation which followed his brutal assault of Rihanna in 2009. 

Rihanna tweeted her support to Brown on the same day as his appearance stating, “@rihanna: @chrisbrown I’m praying for you and wishing you the best today!’ : thank u so much.”

Radar Online reports, “Rihanna told Chris she would go to court on November 1 for his court appearance and tell Judge Patricia Schnegg that she shouldn’t set a hearing to decide if he violated terms of his probation because he has accepted responsibility for his actions and has apologised to RiRi on multiple occasions.”

The source added, “Rihanna doesn’t care if she is criticised for standing by Chris, she genuinely loves him.”
