Robbie Williams and wife Ayda Field have welcomed their first child, baby girl Teddy!

Baby Theodora Rose Williams was born on Tuesday, weighing in at 7lbs 4oz with new Daddy making the announcement via his official blog.

“PRIASE BE, IT’S THEODORA ROSE WILLIAMS, AFFECTIONATELY KNOWN AS TEDDY…..BORN 3.33PM ON 18.9.12, 7LBS 4OZ…”

“BABY, MUMMY AND DADDY ARE ALL ROCKIN…. THANK YOU FOR YOUR BEST WISHES XXXX”

It is believed Ayda gave birth at Portland Hospital in London and rumours have circulated that the proud new parents hired the same birthing assistants Victoria Beckham used.

While Field is American, the couple had agreed that their daughter should be born in England to have an English passport like her father, however the Mum and Dad are yet to decide which country little Teddy will be raised.

Robbie explained to BBC Radio One, “I want the baby to have an English passport, but we’re still figuring out where we’re gonna live.”

Robbie Williams’ new album Take The Crown will be released November 5.
