Ginger Spice, Geri Halliwell is said to be feeling a little foolish after a whirlwind romance with Russell Brand…only to have him run off with another girl.

Halliwell and Brand allegedly began their romance after spending time together at the London 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony.

Halliwell performed at the Closing Ceremony alongside Spice Girls bandmates Mel C, Mel B, Victoria Beckham and Emma Bunton, while Russell Brand performed a song from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory as well as a rendition of the Beatles hit I Am The Walrus.

While the pair apparently began dating, Brand was seen earlier this month meeting with a brunette lady he described as his “beloved Amy”.

Awkward!

A source has told Heat magazine, "Geri feels humiliated. More than anything, she's angry with herself. She refused to listen to her friends who warned her against getting with Russell and now she feels like a fool."

In other Spice Girls news, Mel C has hinted that the London 2012 Closing Ceremony may not be the end of the Spice Girls!

Sporty Spice hinted a possible future performance when she said, "We always think, 'That's it, we'll never do anything together again.' But 'never say never' is one of our mottos!"
