Chris Brown has quite possibly added the most controversial tattoo to his collection.

Chris Brown is under a lot of scrutiny from critics over his strange choice in tattoo.  The new tattoo he’s acquired eerily looks like the battered face of his ex girlfriend Rihanna, from photos that circulated after Brown assaulted her in 2009. 

The singer has denied that the ink and it’s resemblance is of Rihanna and that the tattoo is of a “random woman”.  Reps for Brown have since reported the design is a Dia de los Muertos skull.

"His tattoo is a sugar skull (associated with the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead) and a MAC cosmetics design he saw. It is not Rihanna or an abused woman as erroneously reported."

Speculation of the pair reuniting has been rife in the media for years now and that speculation has only intensified.

Chris Brown and Rihanna have added more fuel to the rumour-mill fire when they were seen kissing at the MTV Video Music Awards this month.
