Here they go again…

Elton John saw a window of opportunity…and he took it. 

It’s no secret that Sir Elton John and Madonna aren’t friends.  Not even close.  In fact, it seems these two will jump at any chance to bag the other.

During an interview with Molly Meldrum on Seven’s Sunday Night, Elton John, took some very harsh swipes at his arch nemesis Madonna.

Speaking of Madonna’s career, John said, “If Madonna had any sense she would have made a record like Ray Of Light and stayed away from the dance stuff and just ben a great pop singer and make great pop records, which she does brilliantly.”

“But no, she had to go and prove…she looks like a f***ing fairground stripper.  She’s been horrible to Gaga,” he added.

Oh, but he’s not done yet. 

‘Why is she such a nightmare?  Sorry, her career is over.  Her tour has been a disaster and it couldn’t happen to a bigger c***."

Lady Gaga is the Godmother of Elton John and his partner David Furnish’s son Zachary, so naturally John and Gaga are quite close, however Madonna has been giving as good as she gets.

Madonna has made digs at Lady Gaga numerous times whilst on tour regarding Gaga’s Born This Way in comparison to Madonna’s Express Yourself.

Madonna has attracted much criticism over her MDNA tour, some even describing it as ‘attention-seeking’.  She was booed after only singing a 45 minute set in Paris last month, put a gun to her head, used swastika pictures as visual aids for the show, cancelled her Australia leg of the tour and flashed her breast to the audience…twice. 

Now, no one needed to see that.
