Justin Bieber has shut down a radio interview in the US after making a not-so-funny joke about the announcers late mother.

In what was already a pretty defensive interview, Justin Bieber ended up simply hanging up the phone after a joke went wrong during an interview in the US.

Justin Bieber’s girlfriend Selena Gomez recently made comments that she and Bieber will need to keep an eye on One Direction’s Harry Styles around their Mum’s.  Harry Styles is notorious for enjoying the odd ‘cougar’ relationship.

When asked the question, should Bieber keep an eye on his Mum around Harry Styles, Bieber responded, "I don't think you should worry about me  — worry about your mom, bro."

In one of the worst jokes-gone-wrong ever, the radio personality responded with, “Justin, my Mum’s dead, so unfortunately that wouldn’t work.”

Instead of Biebs continuing with the interview, the star simply, hung up the phone.

Can anyone else say “OOPS”!!
