Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown has announced that she and her adopted brother Nick Gordon are engaged.

Although Bobbi Kristina has been denying the engagement rumours for months now, she has finally confirmed that she and her adopted brother are in fact engaged. 

E! accessed a promo for the 19 year-old’s upcoming reality show, where Bobbi Kristina is seen nervously informing her family that, “we’re engaged!”  Pat Houston, Bobbi’s aunt responds to the announcement with, “unacceptable”.

Whitney Houston informally adopted Nick Gordon at the age of 12 and has raised him as her own and as a “brother” to Bobbi Kristina.  Their unorthodox relationship has been of concern to Whitney’s family.

Houston passed away on February 11, 2012 from accidental drowning in a bathtub due to the effects of heart disease and years of cocaine use.  The reality show featuring Bobbi Kristina is said to reveal how the family has dealt with the death of Whitney Houston.
