Television anchor, Jennifer Livingston has become a role model for the bullied with her story making headlines all over the world. The broadcaster received an email from viewer Kenneth Krause, who criticised Livingston on her weight. In the email, the writer suggested Livingston’s weight had not improved in years and that she was not a suitable role model for children. Livingston decided to confront the email and viewer personally on WKBT-TV in Wisconsin labelling Krause as a bully and urged young people to take a stand. In a phone interview, Livingston said, "It's not what this one particular man said to me," the 37-year-old said in a phone interview from the station. It's the reaction that what I am saying back to him and bullies everywhere is impacting me. I am just shocked right now that the words of one journalist in small La Crosse, Wisconsin, can make such a loud roar." Since the story broke around the world, the man behind the email, Krause, has stated that his email was not to do with bullying. It’s a little too late for that with support for Jennifer coming from all corners of the globe. For starters, one of the journalist’s greatest supporters is her actor brother Ron Livingston – you may remember him as Berger, a love interest for Sarah Jessica Parker’s on Sex In The City. He stated he is “extremely proud” of his sister. Jennifer Love Hewitt was also happy to tweet her opinion, "the anchor who fought back against comments made about her, is my new hero! Way to go! She's a beautiful woman!" Even Ellen DeGeneres weighed in on the action tweeting, "What a powerful message against bullying, @news8jennifer, I would love to meet you in person."
