Katy Perry’s former boyfriend and Sons of Anarchy actor Johnny Lewis has been found dead after allegedly murdering his landlady.

81 year old Catherine Chabot Davis and her cat were found beaten inside a house believed to be where Lewis was renting a room.  Police say he is the only suspect in her death.

Lewis died after climbing on the roof of the Los Feliz home and either jumped or fell to his death.

Police were notified of the incident by neighbours who heard screams.

TMZ reported that two men believed to be a repairman and a neighbour were attacked with a plank of wood by Lewis out the front of the same home an dshowed “super human strength”.

Police revealed they suspect Lewis was either on meth or PCP during the attacks.

Lewis was released from jail only a week ago after pleading no contest to assault with a deadly weapon and attempted burglary and spending time at a drug and psychiatric treatment centre.

Johnny Lewis played the part of Kip “Half Sack” Epps on Sons of Anarchy and dated Katy Perry in 2006.

Creator of Sons of Anarchy Kurt Sutter stated the situation was “a tragic end for an extremely talented guy, who unfortunately had lost his way.  I wish I could say that I was shocked by the events last night, but I was not.  I am deeply sorry that an innocent life had to be thrown into his destructive path.”
