Lindsay Lohan has been arrested again for driving offences after reportedly clipping a pedestrian with her car then leaving the scene of the accident.

TMZ.com reported that Lohan was driving her Porsche Cayenne in Manhattan and collided with a man, clipping his knee in a low-speed incident as the actress drove into a hotel car park.

The man was apparently crossing a walkway when the accident occurred.  As a passenger in the car checked the damage, Lohan allegedly walked into the Dream Hotel, leaving the scene of the accident as she attended an event.

The alleged victim Jose Rodriguez claims Lohan was “slurring her words” and “smelled like alcohol real bad”.  The chef also told New York Daily that people at the scene of the hit and run “acted like I was nothing”.

Police arrested Lohan and was later charged with leaving the scene of an accident as she exited the nightclub.  Lindsay has now been released from custody.

If convicted, this offence may violate Lindsay Lohan’s probation.
