Could it be?  John Mayer and Katy Perry?

Yes, her body is a wonderland, and she’s one of the biggest superstars on the planet at the moment.  But John Mayer, Katy?  Really?

The pair have been spotted leaving LA’s Chateau Marmont after a supposed date at Pace restaurant, where Us Weekly reported they were “affectionate, holding hands and cuddling”.

Rumours of the couple dating began about a month ago when they were seen sharing a pizza together. 

Katy was quoted saying in a recent Elle Magazine interview, “I'm a woman who likes to be courted, strongly. Never say never, I guess you'd say. I'll let love take the lead on that.”

Katy and John were first linked when Katy apparently '”made it her mission” to get closer to Mayer in 2009.  

Katy’s divorce to comedian Russell Brand was made official last month, and John Mayer isn’t a stranger to high profile flings.

Mayer has had relationships with celebrities including Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston and has also dated Taylor Swift, whom he probably regrets now.

Swift wrote a song about their short fling called Dear John divulging plenty of details about Mayer’s character supposedly ‘humiliating’ him.  Mayer told Rolling Stone magazine, “It was a really lousy thing for her to do”. 

Only time will tell if John Mayer can add Katy Perry to his list of celebrity relationships.  Let’s just hope he can keep his mouth shut this time.
