It has been reported Demi Moore spent the night in hospital due to ‘substance abuse’.

TMZ.com reports paramedics responded to a 911 call Monday night from the actresses home.  Moore was transported to hospital shortly after being assessed.

The website claims the actress’ condition was due to ‘substance abuse’.

US Weekly reports a rep for Moore told the publication that the actress is currently seeking treatment to improve her health.

"Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health.  She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends.”

Last November Demi Moore announced the divorce of her husband of six year’s Two and a Half Men star Ashton Kutcher after rumours he had multiple affairs.
