Ever ‘pinched’ or ‘reused’ someone else’s Facebook status update? Well now one company is encouraging you to do just that. Honest Tea wants you to recycle your Facebook status — supposedly, to raise awareness of recycling everyday products. Facebook users are rewarded with Recyclebank points that can be redeemed for rewards. The Facebook Recycler app currently has 87,000 Likes.
Check out the campaign from ‘Honest Tea’ who are encouraging people to not only reuse their status, but are trying to collect more than 45,000 bottles in a 30ft bin erected in Times Square, as part of ‘The Great Recycle 2012’, and then comment and let me know what Facebook status you’d love to reuse.
