It seems Origin Fever is taking over everywhere, ahead of game 2, I even spotted a Blue Cow in a paddock over the weekend, and Elle and Ricardo have given me a special outfit to wear tomorrow night at the Bridge…

And now, the merchandising has hit our food products!

This packet of chips caught my eye in the local supermarket the other day… Origin Chippies!!

Unfortunately they’re not a special origin Flavour, just bog stock plain original flavour chips… it got me thinking, what could they do to make the chips themselves a bit more Origin-like?

Here’s what i came up with:

1 – Make an Origin Flavour… although for us Blues fans, all that would probably taste like is defeat.

2 - Make sure half the potatoes come from NSW, Half from QLD??

3 - Maybe they should have had half a packet of “original” flavour (usually in a blue packet) and half a packet of Salt n Vinegar (usually in some kind of purple or maroon packet).

Have you got any ideas to make the chips more origin-specific?

In any case - you would just hope that the supermarkets remember to take them off the shelves quick smart if the Blues Lose tomorrow night!
