The Budget was announced last night, with the changes helping some and not others. The biggest news in the budget would be the increase of the Tax-Free Threshold. It has pretty much tripled from $6 000 to $18 200, which means Tax will be less of a burden for low income earner. So if you are earning roughly $50 000 a year, you will receive close to an extra $2 053 in the 2012-2013 year. Each person is different, living in different circumstances, some with children, some on the pension. The budget has focused on many lifestyles including Students, Smokers, Business Owners, the Elderly and even the Unemployed. So how will the budget affect you?
