Nowra-development plans_thumb[1]

So this is the plans for the new apartment block planned for the old Mazda site on Kinghorn Street Nowra.  It will be 4 stories high and take up pretty much the whole site.  As you can see, it’s pretty big.  But does that mean it will be a big suck?

The architecture probably will look a bit toaster like, but flash, it may even bring up the general value of all the property on the street, as desire goes up.  Having higher density living in the heart of Nowra, will be good for retail.

What will suck is the building of it.  Building sites cause disruption no matter how planned you are.  The developers reckon they’re going to start in Jan next year and will be done later that year.

We have done our homework and spent time in Nowra this year looking at site selection and seeking council’s input in design, so it has been six months coming,”

Seems a little optimistic, but hey no one is going to at setting lofty goals.
