So here is the story.  John Mayer, famous music guy, dates Katy Perry, then breaks up with her over email (what a guy…) then a few days later (today) posts this open letter on his blog, saying he will be mute for six months to get back to some kind of inner hipster.

Positives?  Well Ricardo from Power FM loves this news, it’s no secret he dislikes the man’s music and I guess the only other positive is that’s its great timing to take on the vow of silence, when the world is knocking on you door for an explanation for still using email.  I mean seriously email is so 1997.  I owuld have at least expected a Facebook relationship status change from the man!
