There are many things that have stood the test of time, The Eiffel Tower, Uluru and Ricardo's smell… When you look around though, you may see other things in your home and think to yourself “whoa that’s old!” If it still does the job though.. .Why replace it?

After helping his Nan move, my boyfriend acquired a VERY old Soda Stream (the device where you make your own soda)… So old in fact I think it may have been the prototype for the first ever soda stream, but, believe it or not… IT STILL WORKS!

My parents own an amazing jaffle iron. I’m pretty sure it is actually older than their ages combined, sure it shocked me once when I plugged it into the power point, but it seriously makes the BEST ever toasties (no joke… they’re the best.)

So when you look around the home at your appliances, whitegoods or maybe even your dishware, what do you own that has really stood the test of time?
