Almost $50M In Loans To Local Councils- Facilities Upgrades

currarong road repairs on failed  repairs The State Government has agreed to lend almost $50 million to council's across the region, to improve local infrastructure and sporting facilities.

Biggest beneficiary is Goulburn, $32 million in loans to improve the town's sewerage network, and another $6.5 million for a multi use community facility.

 

Culb Rd prime seal1 2-5-12 Local Government Minister Don Page says Shoalhaven has been allowed to borrow $5 million, with the money to be used to carry out repairs and upgrades to the region's rapidly decaying road network.

 

 

 

 

mittagong pool Wingecarribee Council gets a $2.5 million loan, with the money to be used to undertake improvements to the Mittagong Pool to stem the leakage of large volumes of water.

Wollondilly Council is to be allowed to borrow almost $3 million for the construction of new bridges and culverts and the installation of kerb and gutter in a number of locations
