Almost Twice The Limit – But I Have Not Been Drinking

rbt stop A Sydney man who told breath test  police he had nothing drink, has returned a reading of almost twice the limit.

The 59 year old from Woollahra  was spotted near the Big Dipper on the Hume Highway near Mittagong, doing a U-turn contrary to a warning sign.

Police stopped the man a short distance away, and asked if he had been drinking....to which he said no.

Asked to undergo a breath test the man then said...." well I have had a few " .

A " few  " produced a reading of point zero 99.

The man has been charged with a mid range drink drive offence,  and has been ordered to appear in Moss Vale Court next month.
