Housing Industry Australia says this week's interest rates decision.. will do nothing to address the deteriorating new home market in areas like the south coast and southern highlands. The Reserve Bank has keep the offical cash rate on hold at THREE point FIVE percent.. after two big cuts in the past TWO months. HIA Chief Economist HARLEY DALE says new home activity has been failling for TWO years. He says the decision will do nothing to turn that around, and get more new homes coming out of the ground across the Shoalhaven and Wingecarribee |
