South Coast and Southern Highlands phone books will be back to their normal size next year after a local MP made an official complaint to Communications Minister STEPHEN CONROY.

The size of the new local area books have been dramatically reduced and Hume MP Alby Schultz says the printing is so small many people find the print impossible to read.

MR. SCHULTZ says he was shocked when he found out the printing company offered magnifying glasses to help people read the phone books.

The MP says the new book is so small you need a magnifying glass to read it.
