Bridge Re-Opens After Two Week Closure

o'allen bridge FOUR The back road from Nowra to Goulburn is now open againfollowing a two week closure to carry out repairs to a damaged bridge.

Goulburn Mulwaree Council closed the bridge over the Shoalhaven River at O'Allen Ford last month  so staff could replace rotting timbers.

The bridge re-opened early yesterday (tue) afternoon in time for an anticipated increase in traffic over the long weekend.

A five tonne weight limit still applies on the structure and heavy vehicles are advised to use an alternate route.
