One of the hotter talking points to come out of the Logie Awards night in Melbourne on Sunday may have easily been missed.

With all the attention on boy-band sensation One Direction, and then Gold Logie winner Hamish Blake, Seal seemed to take advantage by planting a rather affectionate-looking kiss on Delta Goodrem.

The two singers are judges on The Voice and both have recently become single; Delta, 27, split from toy boy Nick Jonas in February, while Seal, 49, is currently involved in a rather bitter divorce from ex-wife and supermodel Heidi Klum.

Perhaps there is more here than just a friendly show of affection on the red carpet? Both stars, dressed in white, do work with each other so it's not as if they hadn't seen each other for a long time.

Or perhaps they were simply trying to draw attention to The Voice amongst a sea of other talent shows, similar to the flirting between Simon Cowell and Dannii Minogue - and we all know where that lead to!
