Shoalhaven Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a local teenager who has gone missing in mysterious circumstances.

13 year old  Ethan Gualdi from Bomaderry  was reported missing last night ( mon )

Inspector Joe Thone says  the last contact with Ethan was by mobile phone at 5.30 yesterday afternoon when  Ethan said that he was on a train with a male near Kiama.

Inspector Thone says there are concerns for the welfare of Ethan because of his young age and impressionable nature.

Ethan is described as being male, about 140cm tall, of slim build, and having medium length shaggy brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a red and black striped hooded jumper with a skull on the sleeve, white and green striped Quicksilver brand board shorts and black shoes.

He was also carrying a large black backpack.
