Attempt To Abduct South Coast Teen

Police have issued a description of a man wanted for questioning over an attempt to abduct a south coast teenager.

Two girls aged 13 and 14 had left their school in Church Street Albion Park about 1 on Thursday afternoon to go to a sporting event when they were approached by a man believed to be aged in his 50's.

Police say the man attempted to grab the younger girl and drag her away.

Both girls ran off and alerted teachers , who called police.

Detectives say the man they are searching for is about 183cm tall, is of thin build, and has grey hair.
